2) Website use and enquiries

The website provides information and enables you to request availability or a quote. Submitting a form is an enquiry and does not create a confirmed reservation. We will confirm availability and the applicable terms in writing.

3) Eligibility to rent

To rent a vehicle you must meet the eligibility requirements communicated in your quote, which may include minimum age requirements, a valid driving licence, and additional identification. We may refuse rental if eligibility cannot be verified or if required documents are not provided.

4) Quotes, pricing, and payments

Pricing guidance shown on the website is not a binding offer. Final pricing depends on dates, vehicle category, availability, and selected add-ons. We provide a written quote that includes the rental price, any applicable fees, and a summary of key policies. Payment timing and methods are specified in the quote or rental agreement.

5) Deposits and pre-authorisations

A deposit or card pre-authorisation may be required. The amount and rules depend on the vehicle category, rental duration, and cover selected. We explain deposit requirements in writing before you confirm. Release timing depends on your card provider and can take several business days.

6) Vehicle collection and return

At collection, we complete an inspection checklist and confirm fuel policy. You should review the condition report before leaving. At return, we perform a return inspection. Late returns may result in additional charges, as specified in your booking terms.

7) Use of the vehicle

You must use the vehicle responsibly and in accordance with applicable law. Prohibited uses include driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, using the vehicle for illegal activities, subletting, racing, or using the vehicle outside agreed geographic areas where applicable. Only authorised drivers may drive the vehicle.

8) Accidents, damage, and breakdowns

In the event of an accident, damage, or breakdown, you should follow the instructions provided at pickup and contact us as soon as practical. Liability and cover depend on the rental agreement and selected options. We aim to handle assessments fairly and may request supporting information such as photos and incident details.

9) Cancellations and changes

Cancellation and change rules depend on the terms in your written quote or rental agreement. If you need to change dates or extend a rental, contact us early. Extensions are subject to availability and confirmation.

10) Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, HarborDrive is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot be limited under Irish law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

12) Governing law and jurisdiction
